UF ESSIE Evening with Industry is hosted by the UF Engineering School of Sustainable Infrastructure & Environment. This event is a job, internship and networking event catered to students and alumni within civil, coastal and environmental engineering. During the evening, attendees will have the ability to speak and network with company representatives.
Typically student participants range between 325 and 400 attending. Over 100 representatives from upwards of 65 companies and organizations are in attendance. ESSIE undergraduate and graduate students, as well as our ESSIE alumni are welcome to attend.
UF ESSIE EVening with industry event information
- Gates: Businesses and their representatives enter through Gate 4. Students enter through Gate 1.
- Camera Policy: Small personal cameras allowed. No professional cameras and NO DETACHABLE LENSES. The use of a flash prohibited.
- Video/Audio Recording Policy: Video and audio recording not allowed.
- Concession Information: Concessions not available for this event.
- Parking: Parking in the flat lot and garage adjacent to the O’Connell Center will be first come, first served. Parking lifted in these areas at 3:30pm on weekdays.

Student Dress Code:
Business casual attire (khaki’s and a polo) or business formal (suits/dresses). Dressing appropriately goes a long way. We suggest wearing something that would make sense for the industry but is still professional dress.
Avoid: sneakers, shorts, t-shirts or flip flops
